[Cassel's in his room, rearranging his drawer of scraps in some order discernible only to him. Ilia is perched on a high shelf, his eyes narrowed and tail twitching, disturbed by the commotion and looking ready to jump down onto Cassel's shoulders at any moment. As he rummages, Cassel addresses the camera; the moment he turns towards it, a bruise slides into view on his left temple, light and mottled black. He seems not to notice it.]

A few things. First of all, if anybody who's not all Admiral-ed up has a problem with the power outages, I think - I think I can make flashlights and lamps that don't need to be powered. [He's speaking specifically to Morgana here, but he doesn't know everybody's hangups, either, so he's leaving it open to the Barge as a whole.]

Second of all, has anybody actually gotten anywhere with the ship? Steering it or anything? Because this seems like it's getting kind of. Critical. [As Dean so astutely pointed out.]

Last thing - I know nobody cares right now, but we still need staff for the gym. At least one more person. If you feel like going slightly less stir-crazy while we're marooned in the middle of nowhere, apply now.

[Like, super presently. She will show right up, not as evidently armed as she's accustomed to, with a dagger and a phase pistol on each hip: with Steve asleep, it's probably best not to draw attention. (She hides the dagger in her boot, now.)]

[Eggsy's just left - this is the busiest Cassel's seen the gym in a while. He wonders if Kon would be proud of him, getting all this set up, and thinks he probably would be, that he's doing something good here. Even if T'Pol does kind of creep him out.]

[He greets her with a raised eyebrow and a shrug.]

That was fast. Are you that bored?

[She doesn't see the logic in denying it, except that she should be better at finding ways to - not distract herself. Apply herself. Better ways to make herself useful.]

[This a little sarcastic, because so far he doesn't love her attitude, but hey. He could be meaner.]

I work the dinner shift. I can come here after.

I need less sleep than Humans. [Yes, give her the keys and........sigh okay she's bad at mutiny on the Barge, what even do, where even go, etc etc.]

I spend most of the nights awake anyway. [Usually early mornings after a few hours of sleep, but shifting that cycle ain't no thang.]

[Quick, blase, genuine anyway. He fumbles in his desk for a spare set of keys, presses them into her hands.]

[She draws back a little when he tries to put the keys in her hands. It's not that she doesn't want them, it's not as though she's unused to responsibility, but even after so many years among Humans, she's not fond of casual touch.]
