Needy graduated. She didn't go home, yet, probably because her home's total bullshit [and he's pretty sure she's still wanted there??]. Sunny, haunted Beacon Hills, California was the destination of choice, for those of you who really need to know.

Anybody who wanted to say goodbye and didn't get a chance to, um, I can probably get a message to her. And by "I can get a message to her" I mean "I can have Iris get a message to her".

Yeah, as far as I can tell. You get to start over wherever you want. Within limits, I mean, the Admiral's not going to dump you into a black hole (probably), but. Almost anywhere.

And her world was shit. Not on the same level as yours, but. Pretty crap.

And with graduating... Who exactly do you have to impress to make that happen? Can't be as easy as a Warden's thumbs up.

But that is cool, that you've got a great grandparent. It's good to have at least one relative that doesn't completely suck.

Uh, no. I've only got one relative, and she's my sister, and she's the best kid on the planet. Literally, I can say that literally without argument.

I guess, sure. I like to think I've taught her a thing or two, but eh. [ details? what are details? ] No freaking clue where she got the Hannah Montana obsession from, though.

She's got a what obsession? You didn't tell me she had trashy taste.

Hannah Montana. Not Miley Cyrus, there's a very important difference here.

They're both really, really bad.

She's twelve. You're allowed to have bad taste when you're twelve.

Oh now, I mean it when I say that she's actually perfect in every way a little sister can be. [ a beat, then the rest is rushed through with a laugh ] She just has really bad taste in car music.

My brothers suck. [Just like that, being real honest here.] So I'm glad. Especially if it's just the two of you.
